Applikasjonen bruker GPS koordinasjoner for å finne hvilke ferjekai som er nærmest deg. Velger du å ikke bruke GPS koordinasjonene vil du få opp rutene alfabetisk.

Applikasjonen har ruter fra sør til nord, og alle ruter blir oppdatert i henhold til ferjeselskapenes egne ruter. Per i dag har vi over 350 ruter og nærmere 60.000 avganger for 2011 i vår database, og vi jobber kontinuerlig med å få inn de siste vi eventuelt mangler.

Tjenesten er ment som en guide til deg som bruker ferjer, men vi kan ikke garantere for feil i rutene. Dette kan komme av maskinsvikt på ferjer eller andre avvik som gjør at rutene ikke stemmer. Men for oss er det viktig at tjenesten fungerer så optimalt som mulig. RailCommute is an app for UK rail users who travel on the same route regularly.

The app allows you to find your next train, its platform and any delays at the touch of a single button. Once you've caught your train, RailCommute lets you tell your chosen contacts (partner/friends/colleagues) what time you are due to arrive via Facebook and Twitter as well as text and email. Your train is then ‘tagged’ so you can follow your progress en-route.
